A diamond is forever…

The question regarding the aspects of value investment in precious jewels or diamonds is not only, and certainly not even so much as a question as to whether we should invest our money in diamonds or not. It is simply a more important aspect of the diamonds, which we have brought to light here and which is an integral part of a diamond. The value investment aspect is one of the many superlatives, which constitute the perfection of diamonds. Whether this aspect refers to the high-carat single stones or the quarter carat stones in the engagement ring of a student-couple – the value of a diamond is undying. Thus, yet again it distinguishes itself from most of the other beautiful things in life. While an expensive handbag will have lost its shine, charm and value after a couple of years, the quarter-carat in the engagement ring of the erstwhile student will be just as radiant after ten years and will not lose but gain more value. The proverbial eternal life of a diamond is seen in all its aspects. The eternal life of its physical characteristics makes its simple for us to own it. It cannot be eaten by moths, moisture or acids can do nothing to it, it will never have rust or scratches and does not cost the world. And like the physical constitution of the diamond, which is perhaps the most eternal thing that mother earth has to offer us, it has a value just as undying, in this value-oriented society we live in. A diamond, in every aspect, is indeed forever….
